Brian has over ten years of experience in the investment industry with a focus on sales and client relationship management. Brian’s experience spans from various positions at a global broker dealer and hedge fund. This allows him to contribute a unique and critical perspective to providing customized solutions for investment advisors with the overall goal of growth, protection and optimization of their business practices.
Before joining AdvisorAssist, Brian held a position in Institutional Sales at Interactive Brokers Group, a global broker dealer providing online trade execution and clearing services to institutional and retail clients. There he focused on expanding their Prime Brokerage and custodial services to hedge funds and independent RIA’s. Prior to this role, Brian was a senior relationship manager to IB’s top tier institutional clients. He became deeply knowledgeable in the complex needs of each client, which led him to consistently develop and support positive client experiences. Prior to Interactive Brokers, Brian was a senior associate at Topwater Investment Management, a hedge fund providing managed account solutions to emerging hedge fund managers. His experience ranged from providing sales support to the Principal, to responsibilities of providing due diligence of prospective hedge fund managers and onboarding all new managers onto the platform. Throughout his career, Brian has demonstrated and been recognized for his leadership as well as his dedication to both the clients and companies he has served over the years.
Brian is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Economics. He was a three-year starter on the Middlebury Division III Varsity Football team, where he earned 1st Team All-Conference honors.
